Manage prescription processing efficiently, including controlled substances, while maintaining patient counseling standards. Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and use of computer-based dispensing systems. Develop, mentor, and guide pharmacy staff to meet professional and performance goals. Coordinate and participate in training, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Maintain current medication knowledge and adapt to changing site needs. Prepare and present operational reports highlighting performance and areas for improvement. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program; PharmD with a one-year residency strongly preferred. At least five years of professional pharmacy experience with a minimum of two years in a management or supervisory role. Experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred. Current, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license (Arizona license preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Licensed to administer immunizations and emergency medications is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach. Ability to adhere strictly to policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.
