Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leadership opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) in a dynamic outpatient pharmacy setting. This role emphasizes patient care, team collaboration, and operational excellence in a flexible schedule environment, offering 8 or 10-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.Manage prescription processing efficiently, including controlled substances, while maintaining patient counseling standards.Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and use of computer-based dispensing systems.Develop, mentor, and guide pharmacy staff to meet professional and performance goals.Coordinate and participate in training, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.Maintain current medication knowledge and adapt to changing site needs.Prepare and present operational reports highlighting performance and areas for improvement.Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program; PharmD with a one-year residency strongly preferred.At least five years of professional pharmacy experience with a minimum of two years in a management or supervisory role.Experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.Current, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license (Arizona license preferred).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Licensed to administer immunizations and emergency medications is preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.Ability to adhere strictly to policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.This contract position suits pharmacists who thrive in leadership roles and desire flexibility in scheduling while contributing to high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
