Journeyman Plumber

Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber, where you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both residential and commercial structures. You will interpret blueprints and building specifications to create efficient layouts for plumbing materials, and ensure all systems are safe, functional, and code-compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Interpret blueprints and building specifications.
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety and functionality.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other professionals on job sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Essential Skills

  • Valid Journeyman Plumber license.
  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.
  • Minimum of 35 years of plumbing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC and CPVC materials.
  • Proficiency in brazing, electrofusion, grooving, and soldering.
  • Experience with CAD, Revit, and MEP 3-D capabilities.

    Work Environment

    Work on commercial and industrial new construction projects, utilizing 3D CAD capabilities for streamlined coordination, prefabrication, and installation. The work environment incorporates industry-leading methods and equipment, including threading, welding, brazing, soldering, and various pipe fabrication techniques.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring House, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 / hr.
