Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Licensed Counselors for a full-time, on-site role with a school district in the Raytown, MO area. This position is ideal for a compassionate and motivated professional dedicated to fostering students academic success, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

Position Details : Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Monday through Friday

Hours : 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)

Location : Onsite at assigned school locations

Pay Rate : $48 / hr

Key Responsibilities :

Provide academic advising, career exploration, and post-secondary planning for students.

Deliver individual and group counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student achievement and well-being.

Create and implement student success plans and intervention strategies.

Support students in developing coping skills, conflict resolution, and self-management techniques.

Respond to crises and provide short-term counseling and referrals to community resources.

Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with state and district regulations.

Advocate for equitable access to academic and emotional support services.

Requirements :

Active Missouri Professional Counselor License (LPC, LCPC, or equivalent) required

Bachelors or Masters degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or related field

Must meet Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification requirements

Previous school-based counseling experience preferred

Strong communication, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills

Must be able to pass all required background checks and clearances

Compensation & Benefits :

Pay Rate : $48 / hr
