What you will experience in this position :

The Hitchcock, Texas site is expanding its team and is currently seeking Construction Helpers for the 2nd Shift (5pm-3 : 30am) from Monday to Thursday. This is an exciting opportunity to join nVent during a period of growth and innovation. As a Construction Helper at nVent, you will embark on an ambitious journey where every day brings new opportunities to excel. In this role, you will :

• Provide essential assistance to journeymen in assembling buildings and installing various components, such as HVAC units, windows, and doors.
• Cut materials using a variety of construction tools and equipment, ensuring flawless handling and installation of insulation.
• Assist with the layout of cutouts and the installation of panels, closely following industry standards.
• Demonstrate expertise with multiple construction power tools and hand tools, contributing to project execution.
• Conduct housekeeping tasks as necessary, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with your team, yet take initiative and work independently when needed.
• Efficiently implement solutions to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges in projects.
• Be available for 2nd shift and overtime work as determined by project requirements.
