Assistant Nurse Manager - LTAC

Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the Long-Term Acute Care Integrated ICU.

Positions details :

Location : BayCare Alliant Hospital Integrated ICU Dunedin, Florida
Status : Full Time
Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Occasional weekend requirement
On Call : No
Exempt from overtime
Always in person

Requirements :

RN (Registered Nurse) License

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher

2-years' RN experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Experience - 1 year or more in ICU setting

BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Preferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership

Preferred certification - CCRN

The Assistant Nurse Manager ICU responsibilities and skills :

Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills

Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issue

Ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process

Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information

Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
