Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, rinsing and polishing workstations, production and packaging equipment. This job requires good physical stamina, and the ability to perform light to heavy scrubbing, sweeping and rinsing.

Job Description

• Has knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their use, safety precautions, proper cleaning techniques, methods, and procedures.
• Prepares and / or mixes cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
• Uses foaming equipment to apply cleaning chemicals to equipment
• Scrubs equipment using scrub brushes and / or pads to clean, sanitize, and polish equipment using diluted cleaning chemicals
• Maintains good housekeeping in his / her assigned area : Sweeps with a broom and / or squeegee, shovel, scrubs using scrub brushes and / or pads and scrapers, and rinses equipment with high pressure water and / or air hoses
• Changes grader shaker screens in packaging rooms and in prep area when required
• Wear required PPE.
• Performs other duties as assigned
