Backend Engineer
Location : San Francisco, CA (5 Days In-Office)

What You'll Work On (Responsibilities)
As a Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for the high-performance, high-reliability systems at the heart of our platform :
Data & Integration : Design and build robust data pipelines and architect distributed systems to handle high-volume clinical data.
EHR Integrations : Build and maintain core functionality to serve our product areas, focusing on seamless, reliable integration with disparate health systems and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
AI Integration : Integrate with and manage complexity from both in-house clinical AI models and external off-the-shelf models.
Core Logic : Architect and implement complex business logic essential to workflows like Prior Authorizations and Patient Interactions.
Technical Qualifications & Environment
You should have significant experience building lots of different types of systems and solutions, and be ready to make an immediate impact.
Primary Language : TypeScript
Core Systems Experience : Deep familiarity with distributed systems technologies such as Redis, PostgreSQL, Temporal, and Kafka .
System Architecture : Experience architecting distributed systems and managing complexity in a high-stakes environment.
Bonus Points : Strong Kubernetes experience and the ability to work on Helm charts are a significant advantage.
Pay Scale $165,000-250,000
