Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing, demonstrating proficiency in patient care, surgical procedures, and collaboration with surgical teams. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine circulating and scrub nurse duties, including :
  • Proper aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance
  • Assisting in OR setup and room preparation
  • Operating OR lights and tables
  • Conducting sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
  • Documenting surgical interventions and patient responses
  • Provide patient safety by adhering to OR safety protocols and universal precautions.
  • Monitor and maintain OR supplies, equipment, and emergency materials.
  • Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate efficient case management.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and provide critical interventions as needed.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state.
  • Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
  • At least three years' Operating Room experience or a current Operating Room nursing certification.
  • Operating Room experience in the past 6 months.
  • Certified by the American Heart Association for :
  • CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)
  • Associate's Degree or diploma considered with valid license and relevant experience.

    Years Experience : 3 - 5 years

    Salary : $40 - $50 Hourly
