Heat Transfer Engineer | Branchburg New Jersey

Permanent Direct Hire Position

$120,000 – $130,000 + Profit Sharing + Relocation

We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead the design and specification of thermal equipment for industrial cooling systems used in power plants, data centers, LNG plants, and other large scale applications. This role is critical to ensuring high-performance, cost-effective thermal systems that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Thermal & Process Design Verification : ensuring thermal, process, and noise designs comply with technical specifications and performance targets.

Engineering Documentation : Generating and reviewing thermal performance curves, datasheets, process flow diagrams, control logic, and design notes.

Hydraulic Calculations : Performing pipe and duct sizing, calculate fluid flows, and determine drain pot capacities.

Vendor Management

Develop technical specifications for vendor bid packages

• Evaluate bids and select vendors
• Review and approve vendor drawings and engineering documents

Client & Supplier Support : Respond to technical inquiries during design, procurement, and execution phases.

Testing & Commissioning : Create thermal performance test procedures and support system startup and troubleshooting.

Factory Inspections : Conduct equipment inspections at vendor fabrication facilities to ensure quality and compliance.
