Essential functions of the position :

Support

  • Order samples for clients and sales / design teams
  • Create sifs for orders, quick & detailed quotes, discount sifs and add margins.
  • Create budget summaries before a final proposal is issued.
  • Specify furniture that is not systems furniture or required to be done by design.
  • Submit request for proposals to pc's and forward all pertinent info to client and sales.
  • Set up projects in core for quick quotes to get orders processed.
  • Provide order package to pc for order processing.
  • Keep track of proposals created to see if we can push to get ordered at month end.
  • Attend webinar and in person product training for additional product knowledge.
  • Communicate with clients regarding needs and changes along the quoting process.
  • Maintain detailed and extensive project documentation, including records of all key decisions, phone conversations, approvals and signoffs, and notes from all project planning meetings.
  • Manages adherence to project schedule, internal dealership budget, customer's project budget.
  • Communicates regularly to team members and collaborates with team to resolve issues throughout the project.
  • Performs digital presentations, etc. for client and dealership transmittals.
  • Ensures complete and accurate transmittal of project planning data to order entry / management, project management and installation groups.
  • Update manufacturer discounting spreadsheet.
  • Carry out special projects and all other duties as assigned

Pricing

  • Specifying "loose" furniture, including COM lines if applicable
  • Verify accuracy of current pricing
  • Sales & Design Support

  • Provide professional support and assistance to the sales and design team in the development of materials and products utilized in presentations to clients.
  • Bids Quarterback

  • Receive and review each bid for specific details including but not limited to bond requirements, confidentiality agreement documents, notary requirements, due dates, question submittals, etc.
  • Obtain, separate, and request quotes from each vendor for pricing for specified contracts or clients.
  • Verify all counts from bid sheets to drawings provided.
  • Place holds on com as required.
  • Work with sales, pm, and operations to request installation quotes
  • Compile all bid documents and review with sales and design teams to create submittal documents per bid requirements.
  • Secondary Functions of the position :

  • Attend Weekly Design Huddle, keeping activity queue up to date.
  • Attend Weekly Vertical L10 meetings.

  • Travel Responsibilities :

  • This position requires up to 25% travel generally between all Florida locations, occasional site visits and yearly conference.
  • Required Education and Experience :

  • One year Customer Service experience
  • One year handling Order Processing
  • High School Diploma
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
