About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Imaging

Specialty : General Imaging

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2-3 years minimum required

License : ARRT-CT

Certifications : BLS, ARRT-CT

Must-Have : General CT experience from a hospital setting.

Description :

Scanners available : 5.

Will accept a first-time traveler.

Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room cases.

Some pediatric experience is not needed, approximately 2-3 cases a month, usually teenagers.

Common procedures involve general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, and imaging of chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head.

Procedural tasks include biopsies and drains.

Patient ratios are typically 1 : 1.

Experience with the mentioned patient types and GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo) is preferred.

Support on the unit includes other CT technicians, radiology RNs, RRT, Code Blue team, and centralized transport.

The charting system used is EPIC.

Scrub color is any, except for camo or denim.
