Overview
The position of ServiceNow IRM Engineer will be a part of a dynamic and growing team within a GRC space. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and optimal solutions across the Compliance & Risk domains with hands-on configuration in the ServiceNow platform, leveraging cutting-edge technology to support business needs. The candidate will provide ServiceNow experience, combining business and technical knowledge to help develop and implement partner strategies on time and within budget. The candidate will participate in a wide range of activities across the portfolio, supporting functional capabilities and working with Engineers, Product Owners, Staff Architects and Staff Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely delivery of development projects and may be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
- Complete technical / implementation design documentation.
- Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
- Undertake regular implementation and code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards; provide coaching and mentoring on design and coding techniques to engineers in the scrum team.
- Assist with updates to program specification / implementation documentation.
- Work with the scrum team to prepare configurations for production.
- Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; review test scripts and align with the wider testing strategy.
- Escalate, provide feedback, and propose changes to implementation specifications.
- Provide consultation to product owners with recommendations to drive their requirements to success.
- Provide input into technical roadmap and architectural direction based on product roadmaps, including tooling recommendations and evaluating 3rd party technical and security strengths / gaps as needs evolve.
- Participate as part of a scrum team utilizing agile principles and tools including Rally.
Qualifications
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines.8+ years of development experience.3+ years hands-on experience in ServiceNow, including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions / components in the ServiceNow suite (full cycle implementation).Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, integrations and CMDB.Experience using applicable programming methodologies : JavaScript, API (RESTful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, AngularJS. GCP working knowledge.Prior technical experience of systems analysis / programming.Experience building / executing JS utilities.Hold ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials.Conceptual architecture knowledge.5+ years Agile Framework experience as well as hands-on Scaled Agile Framework experience.Machine Learning or Generative AI knowledge is a plus, not mandatory.Equal Opportunity
