Call Center Agent
Suffolk Bus Corp. ("SBC") is a family-owned transportation company located in Ronkonkoma, NY. SBC has been providing Suffolk County's transit and special needs transportation services. As a Call Center Agent, you will work in our Transit headquarters in Ronkonkoma, NY. This is a Part-time position 20 hrs per week and reports directly to the Call Center Manager. The call center is open Monday - Saturday 7am - 5pm and Sunday 8am - 4 : 30pm.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service answering calls in a clear, concise and friendly manner
- Work cohesively with colleagues
- Meet needs of the caller as it pertains to bookings, cancellations, and trip verification, while following the policies and procedures of the ADA program
- Must always be mindful of the difficulties faced by the callers, sight impaired, hearing impaired, cognitive challenges as well as physical limitations
- Resolve complicated round trips
- Knowledge of the Long Island, NY geography
- Map Testing periodically throughout the year
- General office duties as required, data entry, accuracy
