Overview

Job Title : Manufacturing Technician C

Company : L3Harris Technologies

Location : Redmond, WA

Job Schedule : 1st Shift 4 / 10 : Employees work 10 hours per day, 4 days a week. During training, Monday through Thursday, 5 : 30am to 4 : 00pm. Candidates must be able to work other shifts and overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Perform small mechanical precision assembly and test of engines or other components / products as assigned.
  • Handle precision clean parts within a laminar flow environment.
  • Perform diversified, but semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods and procedures under changing conditions.
  • Read and interpret product drawings, process specifications, and department procedures.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, supervision and / or engineers in the set-up and calibration of equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies, company manufactured tooling and pressure testing.
  • Use and operate various computer systems and applicable software (such as retrieving work instructions or manufacturing module in ERP system).
  • Provide assistance in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process, collect data, or assist in research work.
  • Repair or make recommendations to solve equipment issues.
  • Work with management, supervision or lead personnel to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned, including production of parts and metal fabrication as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary / Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, etc.). Knowledge of strippers, crimpers and installing solder splices. Certification to IPC 620 preferred.
  • Familiarity with 5S and lean procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to work other shifts and overtime as necessary.
  • Oracle and Delmia experience.
  • Knowledge of Laminar Flow environments and FOE / FOD controls a plus.
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly and test of electromechanical components.
  • Compensation and Benefits

    Salary range : $25.48 / hr MIN - $47.60 / hr MAX. Final offer amount may vary based on experience and location.
