Role Overview :
We are seeking a Facilities and Logistics Associate to support our innovation and engineering teams. This role ensures that shop operations, shipping / receiving, and workspace logistics run smoothly so that engineers and designers can focus on building and developing prototypes.
Responsibilities :
- Manage shipping and receiving, including signing for deliveries and ensuring packages reach the correct recipients.
- Maintain organization in the shop and entryway, keeping the workspace clean, safe, and professional.
- Organize tools, parts, and materials for efficient and safe storage.
- Coordinate shipment of materials between multiple office locations.
- Assist with facilities-related tasks such as furniture assembly, disposal of batteries and hazardous materials, and scheduling vendor support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with facilities management to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Support the engineering team with miscellaneous operational projects and tasks that enhance workspace efficiency.
Qualifications :
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.Comfortable working in a shop environment and maintaining cleanliness and order.Strong communicator, able to coordinate across teams and vendors.Resourceful with a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges.Commitment to maintaining a safe and functional workspace.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in shipping / receiving or facilities operations.Familiarity with safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials (batteries, solvents, etc.).Ability to perform light assembly and general shop support tasks.Experience coordinating with facilities or operations teams.Valid US driver’s license with the ability to travel between San Francisco and other Bay Area locations.
