We are seeking a highly qualified OB / GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Echo, UT. This is a great chance to join a dedicated healthcare team providing essential services to the community. The position requires coverage for one week each month, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

Job Details :

  • Position Type : Locum Tenens
  • Location : Near Echo, Utah
  • Start Date : January 2025
  • Duration : Ongoing, one week per month
  • Shift Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Setting : Outpatient clinic with general OB / GYN procedures
  • Support Staff : Includes Medical Assistants and Sonographers
  • EMR System : Epic prior completion of required training modules is necessary

Responsibilities :

  • Provide routine OB / GYN care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
  • Perform general OB / GYN procedures during clinic hours
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 10-12 patients per day
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including nursing and administrative staff

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification or Truly Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion) in OB / GYN
  • Active Utah medical license preferred
  • Current BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Ability to commit to one week of clinic coverage per month

    • Credentialing :

  • Estimated timeframe : 60-120 days
  • Must complete all EMR training requirements prior to the first shift
