Job Summary :
As a PCA, you'll be a trusted companion and supportive presence for seniors, providing personal care, assistance, and companionship. This role offers meaningful, steady work in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
Hourly Wage :
$15.00 / hr. to start - $16.00 after 90 days

Per Diem / Flexible Schedule

Duties / Responsibilities :
Provide personal care, supervision and companionship.Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, transfers and incontinence care.Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.Travel to Participant homes and escort Participants to appointments as needed as a passenger in company transportation vehicle.Prompt and monitor medications as appropriate.Report Participant needs or changes to the care team.Document care in Alaya Care accurately and consistently.Support quality improvement initiatives and follow interdisciplinary team plans.Build strong relationships, offering comfort, dignity and respect.Required Skills / Abilities :
Genuine empathy and commitment to elderly care.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.Calm, patient and consistent in providing care.Independent decision-making when needed, rooted in team consensusEducation and Experience :
High School Diploma or GEDCPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain at employer's expense)One year of experience working with the frail and elderly populations preferred, or willing to complete Company paid training to meet this requirementRequirements :
Must be a minimum of 18 years of ageRequires valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB ScreeningPhysical Requirements :
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workdayMust be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 poundsMust be able to assist with the evacuation of ParticipantsThis position may encounter issues / infestations in the homes of the Participants.
