Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Peoria, IL (ZIP 61637) – Illinois healthcare jobs Assignment Type : Travel Nursing / Locum Tenens Facility Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 2 / 2025 – End : 1 / 1 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Orientation : 3 shifts (12 hours non-billable) Weekend / Holiday : Every 3rd weekend; every other holiday Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2310–$2470 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application) – required for Illinois nursing jobs Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Advanced AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP certifications Proficiency in high-risk OB patient care Ability to circulate for cesarean sections and recover patients in PACU Experience with titrating Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (OSF is a drug-free campus) L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care for pregnant and high-risk OB patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and recover patients in PACU Monitor and titrate Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips Perform advanced electronic fetal monitoring using Obix (Philips monitors) and Epic Stork Float to Postpartum and Antepartum units as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including hospitalists, neonatologists, and surgical techs Maintain compliance with AWHONN guidelines and unit protocols Provide compassionate baby care at both vaginal and cesarean deliveries Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Peoria, Illinois!
