QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Fielding Coordinator (Technician) to join our team to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). This is a remote position with not less than 50% travel.
Duties :
- Serve as highly experienced technician capable of resolving complex system failures, developing preventive maintenance programs, training less experienced technicians, identifying systemic failures, and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
- Manage a deliberate program of developing junior technicians.
- Provides oversight to ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained by all field sites, troubleshoots and repairs systems, and performs software updates.
- Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems.
- Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.
- Primary interface with Unit leadership during fielding events.
- Synchronize the efforts of platform installation, New Equipment Training (NET), and logistics personnel during all fielding events.
- Assist with equipment installation support when implementing Assured PNT solutions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of property accountability and general supply management processes.
- Conduct other subject matter expert (SME) functions in support of Product Manager programs, such as attending Integrated Process Team meetings, technical manual reviews / validation, logistic demonstration support, assured PNT testing, etc.
- Assist with the preparation and conduct of New Material Introductory Briefs (NMIB) to ensure that gaining commands (GC) are fully informed about upcoming efforts.
- Coordinate with GC to prepare a NET training schedule and secure a sufficient training location.
- Perform as the on-site lead during MAPS fielding events. Daily maintains 100% situational awareness of the fielding and is prepared to report on all aspects of it.
- Develop a Material Fielding Plan IAW AR 700-142.
- Provide a Material Fielding Agreement for signature to both the MATDEV and GC NLT 220 days prior to anticipated fielding event.
- Provide a Memorandum of Notification (MON) to the GC NLT 220 days prior to anticipated fielding event.

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology, preferred.At least ten (10) years total experience with the testing of electronic equipment with eight (8) years of experience in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems.Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree requirement.Travel :
Not less than 50 % travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment :
This position will be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse / maintenance shops, and / or field environments that include extended periods outdoors.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
