job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform computed tomography procedures and related diagnostic imaging techniques Administer x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation May be required to alternate shifts, work weekends, holidays, and take call Flex hours and overtime may be necessary to provide quality patient care Perform diagnostic CT procedures and may also perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical and portable radiographic exams if assigned Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedures and ensure proper documentation Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, and minimize patient anxiety Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories Position patients to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting patient comfort Practice aseptic technique and prepare / administer contrast media as appropriate Start and maintain intravenous access when required Initiate basic life support actions when necessary Provide patient education and assist with transporting patients Maintain inventory and supplies for assigned area Provide practical instruction for students and partners Graduate of an accredited radiography program required 2 years of CT experience required ARRT Radiography registration required ARRT Computed Tomography registration required IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required Approved CPR or BLS certification required Referral bonus

Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
