We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 10, 2025. This full-time opportunity involves weekday outpatient coverage at intergenerational health centers, serving patients of all ages with day shifts Monday to Friday. A six-month commitment is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-scope family medicine care for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct wellness checks, physicals, and manage acute conditions such as cold, cough, and flu
  • Deliver primary care services to a predominantly Spanish-speaking population (Spanish preferred, not required)
  • Collaborate with dental and dermatology providers as part of an integrated care team
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR system for patient documentation
  • Adhere to facility protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care

    • Additional Information

  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Commitment to full contract term is necessary for consideration
  • Spanish language skills are preferred but not required
