As a Security Officer in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your excellent communication skills foster positive interactions with visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Report and document any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates with relevant experience.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
