Tax Accountant I

The primary function of the Tax Accountant I is the preparation of sales-and-use tax returns, property tax returns, and state and local income tax returns under supervision of a Senior Tax Associate / Tax Manager, and the Tax Department's cash disbursements on a timely basis. This position works a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include :

• Maintains tax records and prepares tax payments
• Estimates, prepares, and tracks monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
• Organizes and updates the company's tax database
• Shares financial data with the Finance department
• Identifies tax savings and suggests ways to increase profits
• Prepares materials for internal and external auditors
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information :

In the course of employment, you will be required to travel to and / or work at a client site.
