Open heart Recovery within 24 hours experience

Hemodynamic (Swan) experience

Description :

This is a high acuity floor.

Ideal candidates are hard workers with a positive, uplifting attitude.

The unit has 17 beds.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2.

The equipment used includes CRRT, IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, and VADs.

EMR system used is Cerner.

Type of patients on the unit includes cardiac patients.

Preferred skills include experience with ECMO, CRRT, IABPs, Impella, VAD, and heart and lung transplants.

Must comply with holiday requirements, which include working either Christmas or Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve or Christmas Eve as per unit needs.

Candidates must be willing to float to other ICU units if necessary.

This position requires strong clinical competencies in managing patients post heart surgery.
