Summary : The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides essential support to nurses and therapists by assisting with a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities. Responsibilities include transporting patients throughout the organization, ensuring smooth patient flow, and delivering items such as x-rays, supplies, mail, and scans as needed within the clinic. In addition, this position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards by monitoring and contributing to quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications : Required Education and Experience 1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or 2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or 3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or 4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program. NOTE : Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
