New Life Transport Parts Center Job Opportunity

New Life Transport Parts Center is a division of Hinton Transportation Investments, Inc (HTI). HTI is a family-owned company based out of Byron Center, MI, and is a leader in the Heavy-Duty Transportation Industry operating as Martec International, New Life Transport Parts Center, Pace Transportation Services, Road Equipment Parts Center, and U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply. With 30+ locations and expansion nationwide, we are eager to add hard-working and growth-oriented individuals to our team to keep us growing!

This position is full-time, 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 5 : 30pm - 1 : 00am.

    • Job Description :

  • Pull and pack truck / trailer parts based on daily customer orders.
  • Meet specifics of customer order in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.
  • Safely operate various pieces of equipment, such as a Forklift and Pallet Jack.
  • Check for damaged items, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected for customer orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the warehouse facility.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • 1+ years' work experience in a warehouse environment.
  • 1+ years' of experience operating Hi-Los / Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Proficient organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a heavy-duty warehouse environment.

    • Essential Functions :

  • Ability to lift and carry 75lbs individually and up to 100lbs with other associates.
  • Ability to use stairs and walk on paved & unpaved surfaces.
  • Ability to read and write and perform simple mathematics.
  • Ability to use and understand a ruler / taper measurer.
