Overview

Sr Data Engineering Architect, Manager at Avanade. Lead Solution Architect within the Data & AI Practice, focusing on client challenges to deliver solutions and services that create high-value business outcomes. Leverage data platforms, reporting, self-service analytics, real time intelligence and AI engineering to drive transformative change.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on client projects, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
• Play a key role in Avanade's sales process by designing solutions that innovate, inspire and win new business; shape high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Mentor junior colleagues and coach the wider technical community to motivate and inspire teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into audience-appropriate language for senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.
• Engage early with clients and sales teams to support origination, requirements capture and solutioning; build strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor; participate in Deal Reviews and client presentations / negotiations.
• Collaborate with Data & AI leadership to shape current and future offerings, accelerators and background IP to support GTM activities.
• Drive evolution of best practices and methodologies for AI development, including data management, model training, fine-tuning and deployment.
• Lead development of data and analytics platforms, real-time intelligence and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks.
• Stay current with advances in Data & AI technologies and integrate relevant innovations into solutions.
• Identify and execute cross-industry solutions-at-scale for the region, including Data Migration, Automation Migration, Visualization / Reporting and Core Data Platform Modernization and Governance.
• Drive measurable growth across the Data & AI Solution Area and collaborate with other Global Solution Areas for integrated offerings and go-to-market initiatives.
• Support strong Managed Services and multi-year engagements for Data & AI.
