Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 8H Days, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. with rotating call

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years

License : Required to submit

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Basic competency in almost every service

Job Description :

• Conduct operations in a facility with 19 suites handling approximately 55-60 cases per day, totaling around 1000 cases per month.
• Utilize the MEDITECH charting system (version 6.1).
• Work in a full-service facility executing a variety of procedures except major pediatrics and transplants. The facility is not a level 1 trauma center but functions as a level 2, handling some ortho / neuro trauma and robotic procedures.
• Participate in weekend rotations approximately once a quarter.
• Call responsibility includes general coverage on average every 7th weekend, with no calls during the week, except for specific specialty teams.
• Maintain a call response time of 30 minutes.
• Engage in a week-long floor-specific orientation.
• Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
• Collaborate with a team of OR techs; must be Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Work in an environment with 24 / 7 RT and Pharmacy support, with surgeons on call around the clock.
• Act with dependability, punctuality, and maintain a flexible working attitude.
• Ensure accurate reflection of experience in skills checklist; proficiency expected for each rating of 3.
• Participate in holiday rotations with permanent staff.
