Job Description
Develop and maintain a robust quality system aligned with certification standards and customer requirements.
Review customer and quality system requirements to ensure product quality standards are achievable.
Define and communicate quality requirements to internal and external teams through quality plans, work instructions, and supplier notes.
Create and maintain quality control documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, FMEAs, and Control Plans, for inspectors, production personnel, and suppliers.
Establish quality system standards and develop inspection, testing, and evaluation instructions to ensure product conformity.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine appropriate inspection techniques and sampling plans for efficient product conformance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Statistical Process Control, analysis of suspect materials, and quality non-compliance handling.
Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions on quality-related issues.
Review manufacturing processes and material handling techniques to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Communicate promptly with customers on quality issues, host quality audits, and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
3+ years in Quality Engineering within a Lean manufacturing environment; Level III Quality Inspection with GD&T knowledge.
CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, 13485, and TS16949 standards.
Proficient in engineering principles, including DOE, statistical analysis, FMEA / FTA, reliability, and protocol / report development.
Skilled in using precision mechanical measurement equipment such as FARO Arm, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and bore gauges.
Strong computer literacy with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, project management, and manufacturing software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and employees.
