This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences. Envoy operates both Embraer E-175 and E-170 aircraft fleet types. The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.S. to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Our paid 11-week summer internship will not only enhance your studies, but also provide an educational experience you can't find in the classroom. As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers. You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.
Pay rate : $22 / hr
Responsibilities
Typical job duties include :
- Collaborate with the Talent Development team to optimize program structures based on your data-based findings
- Use Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI to analyze program data to inform strategic planning for Talent Development programs
- Use AI to innovate programs and create efficiencies
- Use Power Automate to create flows to automate emails and notifications
- Assist in evaluating team structures and workflows to provide actionable recommendations for process improvements and efficiency
- Create guides and templates to be used in data collection and documentation of processes and procedures
- Prepare reports and presentations related to development initiatives
- Assisting in Diversity and Inclusion and Performance Management initiatives
- Other HR related duties
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time and be self-motivated.
Position Requirements :
Minimum age of 18Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in : Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field of studyMust be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student upon start of internship3.0 minimum Grade Point AverageProficiency in MS Office that includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong ability to interpret diverse data sets, identify patterns or trends, and formulate well-supported recommendations based on insights.Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and contribute to group projects.Ability to present complex data and insights clearly and effectively to all levels of management, tailoring the presentation style to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingMust be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English languagePossess the legal right to work in the United StatesPlease note : The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
