Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-hour, (7 : 00PM - 07 : 30AM) Job Responsibilities and Requirements : Provide respiratory therapy in adult critical care, emergency department, med / surg floors, and PCU settings. Manage ventilators (preferably GE 860), including BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Perform airway management including extubation, nasal / oral airway placement, suctioning, and tracheostomy care. Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy such as high flow nasal cannula, nebulizers, and trach collar. Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and deliver medication administration (e.g., Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide, etc.). Collaborate in care of patients with COPD, asthma, cancer, and other critical conditions in a large academic medical center. Requirements : ALS, BLS , CRT RRT credentials. Valid Ohio state license. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of relevant respiratory therapy experience. Preferred experience with adult critical care, emergency departments, and medication delivery systems. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred Ability to float within hospital units as needed.
