Your Role As a CRNA on this global mission, you'll administer and monitor anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures — ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes. You’ll work hand-in-hand with an elite surgical and interdisciplinary team, all while serving in a high-impact, high-respect deployment setting. Your responsibilities include : Administering general, regional, and local anesthesia Monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthetic levels during procedures Managing pain control before, during, and after surgery Participating in patient evaluations, care planning, and post-op assessments Maintaining and preparing anesthesia equipment for safe and effective use Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other providers to ensure comprehensive care ✅ What You Bring Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. State or Territory Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential BLS and ACLS certifications 2 years of recent experience , with at least 6 months within the past year Prior austere, overseas, or military environment experience preferred Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-stakes situations with a calm, clinical mindset Education Requirements Associate, Bachelor, Master of Science in Nursing, or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Must be a graduate of a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE ️ Physical & Deployment Requirements Must meet pre-deployment physical clearance standards Able to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs Willing and able to relocate to Iraq for the full project duration U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required Valid U.S. Passport with at least 18 months until expiration Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Government MRPT security clearance English fluency (written and verbal) required Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience, role complexity, and market data Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits , including : Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Annual performance bonus International SOS complies with all federal, state, and local wage laws Why Join Us?
