Wind Project Management Consultant

The Power Generation Division is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the Central Maintenance Special Projects organization. This position requires expertise in the construction and renewables industry, as well as demonstrated experience in project management. The role involves interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with and assist a lead Project Manager on numerous Wind Turbine construction projects and various technical / engineering projects. A technical experience, particularly an understanding of mechanical / electrical aspects and field construction techniques, is preferred.

The role is on site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and requires travel to project sites up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of Wind Turbine construction and technical / engineering projects.
  • Build and maintain project schedules using Smartsheet.
  • Engage with outside vendors to determine material availability, execution schedules, and other essential items.
  • Meet with internal stakeholders regularly to provide ongoing project status updates.
  • Prepare and host pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
  • Travel to project sites to oversee task execution and provide daily reports.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of project management or coordination experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field, or equivalent construction experience.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Smartsheet, Solar, Wind, BESS design, and construction.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Proficiency in PM Scheduling software, such as Smartsheet and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of crane operations.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 / hr.
