Administrative Assistant II

Provide administrative support to Vice Chair and faculty of Thoracic Surgery, to include Outlook calendar management, support to research & education activities, as well as work as team member to help support & coordinate complex inpatient & outpatient clinical activities across multiple locations. Starting salary is $56,506.

Required Education and Experience 1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or 2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience. NOTE : Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Work experience using Outlook to manage calendar(s) of busy executive(s)
  • Work experience in academic setting, with trainees and / or researchers
  • Experience in planning / support of special events or programs
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree
