ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Pulaski, TN 38478 (Tennessee healthcare job)

Facility Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 6 beds, 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 6 / 2025 – End : 1 / 5 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 hours guaranteed

Weekend / Call : Every other weekend / as needed

Electronic Health Record : MedHost

Equipment : GE Telemetry System

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1750-$1800

ICU Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for Tennessee

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be current prior to start)

Ability to float to other clinical units as needed

Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and professional demeanor

Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check before assignment

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to adults and pediatric patients in the ICU

Monitor, assess, and document patient status using MedHost EHR

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support interventions

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards

Float to other hospital units within the facility as required
