job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEducate clients about all product offerings, including stock and custom window fashions, blinds, shades, and shutter options and functions. Recommend products that meet clients’ needs. Participate in marketing and training programs; utilize POS systems and technology. Demonstrate samples and products to clients in-store and through home appointments. Generate quotes efficiently and promptly. Obtain a 50% deposit before placing an order. Offer measuring and / or installation services for drapery and blinds / shutters. Ensure clients fully understand their purchases, avoiding surprises. Maintain communication with the Operations team until project completion. Oversee mis-measures, defective products, re-orders, and communication with clients and Operations. Follow-up on pending sales and maintain customer relationships post-sale. Greet clients, assist with their needs, and perform floor duties. Address client concerns and refer them to appropriate team members. Send thank-you notes to customers. Return calls within one business day. Stay engaged with clients and Operations until client satisfaction is achieved. Maintain a positive, professional attitude. High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Sales and design experience preferred; Hunter Douglas experience a plus. Full-time position : 36-40+ hours / week. Store hours : Monday-Friday 11 am-6 pm, Saturday 11 am-5 pm. Time management : managing contacts and appointments Basic computer skills Interest in home fashion and decor Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Proven sales ability

Job Title : Interior Design Consultant
Salary Range : $37,000 - $50,000
Job Summary : The purpose of this position is to provide clients with custom window treatments, blinds, shades, and interior design services at a fair price while delivering positive and effective service. The Design Consultant will be knowledgeable in creating window treatments (e.g., drapes, valances, Roman shades) and serve as a client resource for selecting blinds, shutters, and shades. The role involves working closely with the operations staff to ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
