Essential Duties :
- Conduct on-site equipment inspections and maintenance at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with Service Manager to schedule and prioritize field service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Builds knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment while working in the field.
- Maintain remote parts inventory.
- Willingness for overnight travel including some multi-day events.
- Willing to take an active role in acquiring new business opportunities in AOR
- Act as ambassador of the company with customers
Essential Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician / mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordHydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experienceWelding / cutting torch experienceExcellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detailWorking usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.Desirable Qualifications :
Direct industry experienceClass B CDLADA Requirements :
Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computerStand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularlyLift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently
