Loan Tool Specialist
The loan tool specialist is an excellent problem solver, mechanically inclined and has basic knowledge of tools and equipment. Responsible for the inventory of all loan tools, distributing, collecting, inspecting, ordering, and recording of tools loaned. Required to perform normal warehouse functions including picking orders, shipping, and receiving.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check in / out special tools and equipment verifying operation status
- High level of understanding of inventory transactions & AP processes, complex transactions and ability to manage and resolve issues.
- Working understanding of tools and their use
- Must be able to work with minimal oversight with attention to accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- Daily use of Excel - intermediate level needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task
- Ability to follow-up on multiple issues timely
- Track the distribution of tools and users in a database; prepare monthly use report
- Prepare necessary damage / use reporting as required
- Ability and understanding of testing procedures, documentation, record management
- Develop standardized work instructions with management
- Other duties as assigned
Shipping :
Remove product from inventory and ensure accurate part numbers and counts match pick listPackage daily orders in proper carton size to ensure safe shipping to the customer without damageCreate proper shipping documents via UPS, FedEx, or YRC.
