Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to oversee vendor relations, inventory management, and team leadership. This role is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and supplies for production and marketing, while maintaining strong supplier partnerships and budget control.

How YOU will contribute

• Manage procurement and inventory of ingredients, packaging, labels, casings, and marketing materials.
• Oversee warehousing and inventory adjustments.
• Coordinate shipments and expedite materials as needed.
• Lead corrugated design and testing initiatives.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Handle product returns, retains, and dispositions.
• Ensure vendor compliance with approval policies.
• Maintain purchasing budgets for production and departmental needs.
• Track costs for pallets, office supplies, vehicle maintenance, and travel.
• Supervise and develop warehouse staff.
• Prepare annual workforce budgets.
