Product Liability Paralegal

Mid-sized firm seeking a highly motivated, experienced paralegal to provide support for all levels of attorneys in our Product Liability practice area.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Managing the lifecycle of active matters / cases and monitoring case progress.
• Timely ordering, following up, ensuring receipt, and summarizing of medical, employment, academic, tax, and insurance company records.
• Preparing general motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and other documents as requested.
• Assisting with the response to discovery requests.
• Assisting with document reviews on eDiscovery platforms.
• Organizing factual data in multi-district litigation.
• Deposition and trial preparation by way of :
• Summarizing fact and expert witness depositions,
• Identifying, compiling, researching, and analyzing information prior to preparing reports and exhibits,
• Preparing case files, binders, summaries, and other paper / electronic case materials such as witness binders, pre-trial binders, and compilation of trial exhibits,
• Coordinating and preparing witnesses (fact and expert) for testimony at trial and depositions.
• Electronic filing of pleadings such as Appearances, Answers, and all pretrial and dispositive Motions in state and federal courts.
• Logging and entering in billable time to Prolaw billing system.
