Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

At Carle Health, we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other healthcare providers, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients, guided by provider orders and nursing care plans.
• Report patient responses to care for evaluation and modification of care plans.
• Administer medications via various routes, including oral, intramuscular, and inhalation.
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as vaginal exams and suture placements.
• Act as a member of the Code Team when needed and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
• Conduct patient intake by collecting vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and pharmacies via telephone.
• Provide written instructions regarding procedures and medications as directed by providers.
• Maintain department-specific competencies and perform waiting room and exam room rounding.
• Collect and process specimens accurately.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $22.40 - $37.41 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
