Responsibilities
- Assures a clean, safe, attractive environment for patients, employees and visitors.
- Clean and sanitize rooms, furnishings and assigned work areas according to established policies and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
Garnet Health provides a compensation range to comply with New York State salary transparency laws.The compensation range for the role is $21.64 - $22.29 hourly.We offer tuition reimbursement programs for continued education, and comprehensive health, dental and retirement benefits designed to fit individual and family needs.Qualifications
Minimum Education
Grammar School or its equivalent.Ability to read and write English and understand oral instructions.Minimum Experience
One month on-job training.Health care and hospital experience preferred.Ability to read and comprehend infection control postings and hazardous chemical warnings, and to write and follow oral and written instructions.Required Certification / Registration
Hospital Crisis Intervention training course within three (3) months of hire / transfer and annually thereafter.Physical Requirements
Working Conditions : Works in a clean, well-lit, heated or ventilated facility with no routine exposure to hazards.Physical Demands : Ability to perform full range of motion; visual and aural acuity; dexterity to operate equipment; able to sit, stand and walk for long periods; ability to lift 50 lbs.Mental Demands : Ability to foster collaboration, work under pressure, organize information, prioritize tasks, think critically, and multi-task. May work within a Behavioral Health Unit. May require irregular hours including evenings or weekends for operational / community events.Workplace type
