Job Summary
The Newport Beach office of Stradling is seeking an entry level clerk to join the Records Department team. This position requires acute attention to detail and accuracy. The Bond Transcript Clerk is responsible for upholding the standards of quality, consistency, accuracy and good customer service. This position reports to the Records Manager and is a full time office-based position.
Job Functions
- Ability to scan and print documents using a photocopier
- Responsible for bookmarking scanned documents using Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to provide good quality control to ensure accuracy of documents
- Assembles and stores the hard copy documents
- Distributes bookmarked documents via electronic method
- Responsible for tracking and providing monthly status reports
- Provides administrative support for the bond group assistants / paralegals
- Prepare and organize expense reports for attorneys in a timely manner
- Perform file maintenance, including saving documents to the document management system
- Perform clerical duties for the assistants / paralegals as needed
- Special projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is requiredStrong organization, communication and time management skillsProficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office software applicationsDedicated work ethic and collaborative spirit to help the team meet its goalsAbility to stand and / or sit for prolonged periods of time, bending and lifting up to 25 poundsPay Range
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is from $20-$22 / hr and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of base salary at the time of posting. The actual salary offered may vary based on experience, qualifications, or other relevant factors.
