Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department position requiring EPIC proficiency and up-to-date AHA certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patients include a wide range of emergency and acute care cases
  • Day shift schedule from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • May be required to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Candidates must be able to float as needed based on skill set and facility requirements
  • First-time travelers must have at least 5 years of large ED experience; otherwise, at least 3 years previous travel experience required
  • Radius rule applies for local candidates, impacting pay rate
  • COVID vaccination is not required
  • All positions are auto-offer with expedited hiring processes

  • Active WI or Compact RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
  • Current AHA certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • TNCC certification required and must be renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required (updated per group frequency)
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR required
  • Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
  • Nursys verification and license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • 2 recent references and a copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
