What does an Instructional Media Developer do at Rinnai?
Under the supervision of the Director of Training and Development, this individual is responsible for curating, developing, deploying, tracking, and reporting on multi-media products, technical, systems, skills, and compliance training solutions that drive results & enhance the performance of internal and external customers. Solutions may include, but are not limited to curricula, courses, interval reinforcement, events, job aids and may be delivered through first person, multimedia or deployed materials. Clients will include employees, agency representatives, distributors, dealers, servicers, installers, builders, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create product, technical, systems, skills, and compliance multi-media training solutions and job aids.Update current product information, training modules, and job aids to reflect product improvements, modifications, and brand guidelines.Deploy, track, and report on internal and external training programs and job aids.Support HR and other internal customers with the development, deployment, tracking, and reporting on compliance-based training requirements & job aids.Ensure all activities comply with established legislative laws and / or Company policies and procedures, industry standards and trends.Maintain and submit training metric reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Evaluates & reports participant and solution effectiveness and ROI to enhance future iterations.Interacts with various internal & external clients to assess needs, compile accurate and in-depth training solutions.Curation, maintenance & improvements of training spaces, multimedia and instructional resourcesOther duties and responsibilities as required.REQUIREMENTS : KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's Degree and / or equivalent work-related experience required.
Minimum 2 years of previous e-learning development experience within a corporate environment preferred.
Proven / demonstrated ability to create training courses and job aids with multi-media software tools, such as e-learning authoring, photo & video editing, and web conferencing software platforms (Rinnai uses Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, WebEx, TEAMs, and others)Proven / demonstrated ability to incorporate Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design, and Graphic Design principles in the creation and deployment of training solutions.SKILLS
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to facilitate meetings with SMEs.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both individually and collaborate in a team environmentAbility to multi-task with exceptional organizational skillsExceptional graphic and instructional design & multi-media program development skillsABILITIES
