Experienced Electronic Systems Technician (EST) - Building Automation

Summary

Join a team that values proven methods, clean work, and safety. You will install, wire, test, and commission building automation and control systems for commercial and industrial sites. You will support junior techs and keep projects on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Pull, route, label, and terminate low-voltage control wiring, including CAT5 / 6
• Mount and wire PLC and BAS control panels and verify torque and labeling
• Read and apply plans, one-lines, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams
• Install and integrate field devices : actuators, valves, meters, and sensors
• Commission PLC / BAS points, run checkouts and functional tests, and document results
• Troubleshoot HVAC automation for chillers, VAVs, RTUs, AHUs, and pumps
• Set device addresses and configure networks : BACnet / IP, Modbus RTU / TCP, and MSTP
• Maintain redlines, as-builts, start-up forms, and commissioning logs
• Follow NEC, EIA / TIA, BICSI, and site requirements
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, commissioning agents, and other trades
• Coach apprentices on safe, correct work
