Overview

Are you a Civil Project Engineer with a background in transportation, public works, or utilities projects looking for a new opportunity? MacKay Sposito seeks a collaborative Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Federal Way, WA. Responsibilities

  • Plan, provide design guidance, and manage technical delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and the business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work.
  • Effectively direct and support technical staff to deliver projects.
  • Assist project managers to prepare and manage project scope, budget, and schedule and prepare deliverables.
  • Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Registered PE in the states of Washington and / or Oregon
  • 5+ years of public works transportation and / or utilities experience
  • Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians
  • Previous experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
  • Experience preparing WSDOT and / or ODOT based specifications and opinions of probable construction cost
  • Business development experience and / or interest in helping to drive client relationships and new work with existing and new clients
