About The Position

Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM; 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum 1 year experience required

License : Current ARRT license, registered in mammography

Certifications : BLS, ARRT in Mammography, ARRT in Radiography

Must-Have :

MQSA Qualified Mammography Technologist

Experience in outpatient settings

Ability to perform screening and diagnostic mammography

Proficient in 3-D mammography and digital mammography

Experience with Hologic 3D equipment

Knowledge of isolation precautions and radiation safety

Description :

The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography.

Candidates must meet all MQSA requirements to perform mammography.

A current ARRT card registered in mammography is required.

Continuing education (CE) must be up to date.

This role operates in a fast-paced environment.

No weekend work is required, but candidates may need to work a Saturday or two.

The technologist will rotate through various screening locations as needed.

The position involves working full-time, 8-hour shifts, five days a week.

Candidates should possess strong skills in the relevant areas of mammography.
