Insurance Office of America is hiring for a Commercial Lines Account Manager (Fully Remote) . This role manages an assigned book of business, ensures account retention, and supports new business while coordinating day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.

- Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy and omissions-free service.
Key Responsibilities
Technical competence : maintain industry knowledge and technical proficiency.Team leadership : direct daily activities of the account management team.Customer service : handle service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.Policy management : manage policy expirations and renewals.Renewals : conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.Accounts receivable : monitor reports and collect delinquent balances.System maintenance : maintain agency management systems and carrier / vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.Activity monitoring : maintain activity / suspense to ensure timely completion.Communication : maintain transparent communication with the account team regarding workload and issues.Service excellence : deliver proactive, high-quality service and respond quickly to service requests.Policy compliance : stay updated on company policies and procedures.Continuous improvement : adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance.Champion IOA values : demonstrate integrity and leadership.Ideal Candidate Qualifications
3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industryThorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needsActive property & casualty licensing required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skillsProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)High school diploma or equivalentWhat We Offer
