Overview

The client is a well-established commercial contractor specializing in interior and ground-up construction. With expertise across healthcare, corporate workplaces, higher education, and research facilities, they deliver complex projects that balance functionality, safety, and design. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily on-site construction activities for ground-up and interior projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Enforce safety protocols, monitor site conditions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections, track progress, and resolve field issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and site documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to address challenges and keep work aligned with project goals.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover to the client.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in ground-up and interior construction projects.
  • Prior expereice working on healthcare and medical office building projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to direct subcontractors and field teams.
  • Skilled at problem-solving
  • Knowledgable in maintaining schedules in fast-paced environments.
  • Effective communicator : able to collaborate with clients, project managers, and design professionals.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering projects to the highest standards.
